This year to save everyone some time, we are doing some of the registration before the show.
Jaquetta and I will be at the Holiday Inn on Friday afternoon between 2-5pm to get you all pre-registered. Your cars will also be classed at that time. We will also be set up at the show Saturday morning to register everyone that couldn't make it to the hotel the previous day. If anyone has questions feel free to contact me.

So are the class guidelines going to be released beforehand or are we just going to have to wait until we get down there to see what class we are in?

Your classification is going to be based on the number of modifications you have. We're working out the specifics right now.

Really? Im not showing but I will be attending, but number of mods just seems a wierd way to classify people. Just personal opinion.

Good point. Shifter bushings, headlight overlays, and painted calipers are three mods that I doubt would help me win against a car with a body kit, 3-piece rims, and a turbo.

I am sure all of that would be taken into consideration. # of mods and size of mods

Ok, that is good to hear. I have a lot of mods, but a majority are pretty small.

both Jyl and Joquetta are very hip to the type of mods out there and what kind of work is involved. you can be sure they will weight them accordingly.

Just tried to make it as simple as possiable and hit the major mods..not to discount anyones mods they have made but we could be all day classing one car if we count every mod.
Hope this will work out for everyone !!! :trophy:

Just wondering...what about
short shifter
exhaust
coil overs with EDFC.. is that going to be the same as just coil overs?
Underbody and interior lights
does a AVN count as screen or just a head unit....
I'm just curious :)
Gotta see how much more stuff I can install before we leave on Wednesday
Thanks

I left the LEDs out because of the various ways they can be installed, i.e. difficulty and placements...I left that up to the guys at the glow off :mro:

Short shifter were not counting, yes its a mod but we are trying to keep stuff simple.
My bad on the exhaust I will ad that.
Coilovers will be a " general " class to include all type.
Underbody and interior will be judged at the glow off.
AVN will be under the " screen" again just to keep stuff simple, not to discount your stuff just to make the show move along easier.

Im only saying this to help because I have thrown shows and judged shows...
Seperate suspension from exterior it will make it easier to do the points of the cats better overall and will help keep the classifications more on point.
Chad people with cf intakes get 3 points... haha

Either way the drop's would still be valued the same, again these are not points you will get when you fellow Sciko judges you, these are just classification points for Jyl , Jaquetta & Eddie to follow at the registration table.
