Oznium question

ok guys and gals, i just got my new oznium 16 LED dome light in and it works great but i have run into a problem. i cant get the light cover back on with the mount the way it is. did anyone else run into this problem? any ideas on how i can get it on?

I know in my 04 xB..I had to do a little "trimming" of the dome light housing.

what do you mean by trimming? pics?

I dont have that xB anymore..but if remember correctly I had to trim the housing around the edges of where the LED stuck to get get it to fit flush so the cover would go on.

For dome lights that don't have much vertical clearance, we have an ultra-thin style: http://www.oznium.com/thin-led-domelight

Or if you want to make it work with the other larger style, I imagine you'd have to trim the dome light housing.

i had to trim mine up a bit too when i had the superflux led dome light. but i got a new housing when i got the ultra thin. fits much better.

the ultra thin just didnt look as bright as the superflux. the superflux lights p the ground around my car lol. i love it but its so fat lol.

if it's the super flux, I just kinda shoved mine in, then popped the cover on.

Just make sure the wires go up into the inlet where the adapter is. The cover will flex out a little bit, but after a couple of weeks it pushed the LEDs to normal.
