because most owners regardless of what wheels come on it will take them off to buy aftermarket wheels...so basically they are saving you the cost of wheels since theyre just gonna be hangin out in your garage anyway :p

it seems like a color shift to me depending on the light
since its a violet color it will look blue sometimes then super purple the next

Well the price of the RS is a little less than if you were to get a base model and load it with the same accessories. If you add wheels, your talking an extra $1500 to $2K... and spending almost $22,000 on an xB is just out of the question...

Haha very funny NOT!!!!!!! So the sales guy called mydad and the fuckers haven't put it on a truck yet it's still in port so I'm looking at maybe next thursday =[

The RS6 shift knob isn't any different than the regular Scion knob. The RS7 one is made by RAZO, so you might be able to find a similar one from them. I believe you have to provide an appropriate VIN # to order any RS parts from Scion, which can also be quite expensive.

mine was supposed to be here Dec 21st then they said the 24th now they are saying tomorrow!! I'm cool with waiting, still trying to sell my 2009 xB and waiting for all the snow and ice to get off the streets! Can't wait to see it!

i wouldnt hold my breath if i were you becasue jim norton told me the 24th then the 1st and now its not supposed to leave port till the 8th

here is the long and short from the way i understand they are going to alocate at least one per dealer but are spreading the cars slower than in the past so they dont build up on dealer lots and keeps them unique. Second is we have to remember these cars are built in japan and have to be ported and yes you guys are land locked so it takes longer to get to you because they have to go by rail car after the port i would assume. Lets not also forget that scion was launched on the west coast then the east coast then the mid part of the U.S. but as it seems to me you all have a HUGE following out there and am looking forward to my drive to tulsa this june!

Mike is right BTW, They are allocating them slowly to ensure they stay available universally. As for your situation Samm it seems like someone fell asleep on the job and that's why its taking so long, if your dealer can see that its in port, then they already had their allocation given to them.

I spoke with the general manager of the dealership here in Arlington, Texas. He said that they have been told so many dates that they're getting just as annoyed as I am. He said that the ones for OK will be released at the same time the ones for TX are, so we have them at about the same time. The Gulf States VPC covers a five-state area. The cars arrive on the west coast by ship, ride the rails to Houston, and end up on trucks to the dealers. Next promise date is Tuesday, the 12th...not holding my breath!

I went to look at cars on Thur. and the only xB they had on the lot was the RS 7.0 and it just so happened to be a manual, soooo I bought it that night. They had just gotten it in that morning and it was still in the protective wrap. :)

I was told mine would be here in Tulsa Dec. 21st and still not here then Jan 6th and still not here. As of yesterday it is ready and sitting at port-I just have to wait till they decide to send it this way :(
I'm still trying to sell my 2009 xB so I am ok with the wait I guess.

my 2006 xB was totalled in a wreck in Nov. Got a great deal on this 2009 and I owe very little on it. A week later found out about the 7.0. And I want it-I must be different!! (my old xB had daisy wheels) I am trying to sell mine with no luck so far, so yes I will just trade it in when mine gets here. I would totally rather sell it outright but that doesnt seem to be the plan :( Know anyone that wants to buy one?????

Mine has been sitting in port for 2 1/2 weeks

i ran into the same problem with my first unit we had to call the boston region to get them to call the port to move it out. Was not from a lack of anyhting we did they were just backed up and were not making it a priority
