whats the best turbo and which 1 do you think i shold go with

alrah guys need sum help, i need to know what u think the best kit is out right now. ive done a shit load of research the past 3 weeks since i decided to go f/i. im kinda leaning towards the dezod s1 kit and the zpi stage 1. but really i wanna hear fellow scikotic's whos runing what and y.


im prolly goin to make a decision in about 2 weeks, so any info, tips, advice and links that could help me out that would be great. thanx guys

There are people that are fond of each company. I would just say contact Kenny (ZPI) and Paul (Dezod) and tell them what you want for a turbo. Weigh the pros and cons of each and make your decision. Nobody can say "turbo x is better" without someone else saying "no, turbo y is better". You just have to do the research and figure out what is best for you.

let me just say this, i went to zpi last weekend to get boost and holy shit i couldn't be happier.

after spending a weekend down in zpi i have a new respect for them. they're an amazing company and really are doing what they can for the scion community.

Also when talking to kenny there and he said that they shipped out their 350th stage 0 kit with only a half of dozen problems vs dezod which has shipped out maybe less than 50 kits and i've read at least a dozen engines that have blown up.

zpi gets a bad rep for shipping but i'd rather a bad rep for shipping than a bad rep for blowing up engines.

basically this. the best bang for your buck is the zpi stage 1 hands down. at under 4k its a steal and you know you'll be taken care of bc their customer service is one to none.

Don't see to many Dezod cars that have that kind of abuse done weekely. I'm not going to bash Dezod or any other turbo company, but Dezod has not had to much "Luck" lately with their kits surviving a simple single pass on the Dyno.

I say go with Dezod - their customer service can't be beat.

I have the GReddy kit - it does the job and I like it.
