I'm lookin' for someone that know if my tires will rub on my tC if i have

225/40/18's with AXIS 18"x8.0 wheels

The car is lowered on TEIN springs (2.5" front/ 2.0" rear) I can't seem to get an absolute straight answer out of anyone.. not even axis. I want to order my wheels today but i dont want to have to FIX my car to make them fit.

HELP ME OUT!

hmmm thats almost a bit high. do they have like a 38 or something. you might need to roll the fenders with a 35

no they only have 35 unfortunately.. and the tires are sponsored.. i wanted 215/40/18 but they only have the 225's.. i dont know if i wanna roll the fender.. or if i'll have the cash to do it after the wheels and installing the other stuff... GRRRR..

does that change the look of the car on the outside? and is it expensive to have it done?.. Sorry, i don't even know how it workS! haha.. i've seen the machine though. What kind of shop would be able to do that? and do i need the wheels on there for them to do it?

doesn't cahnge the look at all, i dunno bc i just have done it myself.

what it basically is it just take the inside of the fender (if you feel around you'll feel a lip) and it pushes it out towards the outside of the fender.

i'd guess maybe 100-150 total for 4 fenders.

I talked to a few shops here in town today and got nothin' but BAD feedback on rolling the fenders. Imperfections, cracked paint... and they said it's still not guaranteed not to rub.. especially with the 225's. I wish i knew someone that already had this size on their car so i could check it out. I just dont wanna make a mistake and not be able to fix it. And it sounds like i would HAVE to roll the fenders to get those wheels in there especially with that size of tires.

well i ran 225's all last year on 7.5 but my offset was 45. i have NO personal experience running a 225 on a 35 with an 8 wide but i don't think it should be that big of a problem
