Ok guys I need some opinions on my new mood I'm getting. I want to get this carbon fiber concept hood. Heres a pic.http://www.customautotrim.com/bodykits/extreme-dimensions/img/04_xaccgtconcepthood5.jpg
This is the website I was going to order it from this website

Not sure if anyone ordered from here before or not.
Also I was kinda curious about the hood. It has those 6 slits in it, so I was wondering about when I drive in the rain cause a ton of water is going to get into my engine bay. Is there anything that I would need to cover up before putting this hood on??? I was going to have my HID's installed before the hood so just want to keep those any from harm way, and didn't know if my intake was going to get a ton of water into it.

I'd call them and ask, if they do not have little filters on them I'd go to home depot and get get a new AC filter like you would use on your home. Then cut pieces to fill up those holes. Acourse take them out when your at a show or whatever.

find out if u could use 3mm double sided tape. whatever you could use that wont leave a mark. Before you do that though call them and see if it has something on it to stop water

I gave them a buzz today and they said they were cut all the way through. They did say though that the slits were very small and no one had a problem with the excess water getting in. They do not come with any guards either to re direct the water flow.

Yeah, just matters how difficult the question n all. I dont post questions on the xA here really just because team ist has more "experts" on the car. The xA was not a popular car so its hard to find alot of drivers n lovers of the little hatchback.
