There have been a lot of new members joining the NJ Chapter here recently very quick. We've had a little bit of a difficult time keeping up with everyone, so to make things easier, i'll introduce myself and I'm sure Evan will chime in shortly and talk about himself. And hopefully ya'll will join in. :D

My name is Louise and I'm a professional photographer based just outside of Trenton. I'm also working on finishing up my college degree after not being in school for a long time. In a past life, I have been a Scion sales manger as well as helping the local dealership put on a car show for a couple of years. I own a 2007 Nautical Blue tC that I've added a K&N CAI, TRD strut bar, TRD rear sway and Doctor Isotope short shift kit.

Wassup everyone? I'm Evan and have been a Sciko pretty much since I got my car 2 years ago. I am a CAD specialist (computer aided drafting) for Toys R Us at the corporate headquarters in Wayne. I turboed my tC back in April, have a silver cf hood, lowered on Hotchkis springs, S2000 stubby antenna, and a few more things. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. We are all here to help. Name is Jay and I have been a Sciko for bout a month now met some of you guys at the meet last month....I am a facilities cordinator at a local pharma corp in Bridgewater have been there for about 9 yrs now. As for my car its a 2010 XB in stingray metallic with minor mods right now... In channel Vent visors,stripped Black Vinyl off the A-pillars,6000K Low beams, Security System,Eibach Sportlines drop springs (waiting to be installed),17x7 Black Konigs with 225/45/17 Hankook tires (waiting for spring to install), Scikotics decal...

I did not have deep pockets to mod my 2004 Xb. But, over the years it was slowly morfing to its present alter ego side which is known as the Spider themed car. This year, I was now lucky enough to beat out all the tC's :5eek: LOL + won 1st Place Scion @ :flag_usa:2009 National Hot Import Nights Car Show at the Oldbridge Raceway- Englishtown, NJ. So everybody keep on modding + build your dream car.

I try to say hello to all my Scion peeps + am very friendly. Everybody knows me as "Spiderman" not Jim LOL, cause I'm always sporting some sort of spider attire/bling at the car shows that I attend. So if you see me, a weird old guy at an event, don't be afraid to introduce yourself:gathering: + say hello. For I may not know that you are a Scion head. :icon_Fete2:LOL

Yeah, this summer wasn't too good of one. Went through a messy break up, had some other personal stuff going on, not to mention funds were very tight after my turbo install. I'm still not even done with it and need to get things fixed before the motor blows. I will try and be more active next year. I should be getting better gas mileage too lol

I did make it out to the Scion drift event and met Gushi and Frost. That was pretty cool.

I go for the people + know my many tri state regional friends will be there vs local Scion meets. More people tend to show up at these free events since there are no cost + may be on a budget like me. But, I do recognize a nice relax Scion meet + trying to pull teeth to get a date for people to show up like me. LMFAO.

I learned in life that people will always bicker no matter what. THE DEMOCRATS + REPUBLICANS DON'T EVEN GET ALONG. lol So F... them all, who cares, just have a good time with the people you have not seen + don't let anybody spoil it.

As for the trophies, yes a lot of people are there for that, cause it is a FREE Scion car show. It's nice to win, but shit happens. If your mature you move on. But 90% of the time the top cars win.

Just joined the NJ Chapter, thanks to Louise for all the help getting my settings up so I can read the board. I live near "the shore", kayak and fish as much as I can. I've owned 4X4s since 1972 but made the switch to xB in 2008 because they look like so much fun.....and they are! My box has minor custom changes, not into speed anymore but this thing has plenty of power. Can't wait to make it to a Meet and see some real tuners and customs. Currently the tC is dropped on TRD Springs, has a Descendant cat-back exhaust, Injen CAI, Black a-pillar vinyls have been removed, 6000k low beams and modded a 2nd reverse light. Plans for it... I don't know, but I do know I want to become broke doing them lol. Short shifter or strut bar is probably next. Hope to meet everyone soon!

hey guys hows it going, my name is Danny. im from Linden, next to elizabeth. i bought a 2011 tc and 2 weeks in got side-ended, lady clipped the r/r of my bumper and tore it off. now its back and im glad. i really happy with it. i just trying to save some money so i can start the personlization project i have for it (still planning). i was going to the BBQ but i was asked to work that saturday b/c they forgot some to vacay. so now i have to hope for the next meet. later
