how do u test a 4 prong led?

i got a few 4 prong leds that im trying to wire up but i cant get them to light with the diode setting on my multimeter or even a batt any suggestions?

If it's anything like the superflux led's on oznium, two of the leads are positive and the other two are negative. 12V on each circuit should light them up...
