Anyone have a recommendation for aftermarket brake pads? No track driving, 90% hills and curves. Want least amount of brake dust and better grip than OEM. :thx:
Come on guys, I know its the world's slowest car, but surely some body has changed brake pads!
For less dust I'd recommend ceramics. I've used a few sets and they're the shit! I had to order a set at Advance Auto last year...can't remember the brand though...no one else even listed them for Scions. They were like $40. Susan's been real happy with them on her box.

I think Morse is the brand. I ran them on my Cad because the dusting was so bad with OEM. They cured that and then some...same with Tracy's Jeep...the Jeep was HORRIBLE with dust and those really did the trick. I'm going to put a set on my box here pretty quick now that I got the sportmax's on.

Or, you could give me the Sportmaxs and you wouldn't have to worry!:lalala::lalala:

I use Hawk's on my xB and they work great. I'd also recommend steel braided brake lines for a very noticible improvement.

If you change the brake lines and re-bleed the brakes, you'll get much better pedal feel.

I like axxis brake pads alot they last along time low dust and are far better than stock just good pads all the way around.

I have the Hawk ceramics and EBC slotted and dimple drilled rotors...Once they seat, they do real fine... As long as you keep some heat in them.
