After playing with the wallpapers, I had an urge to play with photoshop some more. Here's my 1st draft idea for vinyl work I'm thinking of. Relativelly simple, uses the broken line thing, with a little something extra. Open to ideas... and if anyone wants to play ith it and maybe shoot me an improvement of sorts I do have to PSD *hint hint* *nudge nudge*, which isnt anything more than 3 layers, pretty simple.
meh ... picture's not showin up for me now ...
postimage likes to be shitty in the morning, so here's the first picture hosted off one of my photobuckets

Not bad but I have always thought that something that long should start a bit further forward and end where you have it.......mine start at the headlamp and run to the taillight........

wanna illustrate it for me? I'm a visual kinda person. I seen your stripes, having trouble peicing the two together.

No photoshop but I will see what I can find to give you a visual.....

If they don't start further forward, they look more generic and less like they were made for the car. It also looks more rice in my opinion.

Actually it looks pretty good, but the red is mega-bright... tone it down by 1-2 tones and keep the black as a drop shadow effect, just make sure to not make the drop shadow too thick, otherwise it looks cheesy....

Very nice input but the red was not the intended color I don't think. It was just a stock photo I picked up to display an idea......love the idea though........

I especially like that, the hood vinyl... makes me want a colored car more and more ... cant pull that off on white w/o being tacky I think. Also, for mine, yea red is the intended color ... for now ... it was the color barry (our vinyl guy) and I came up with. I was also thinking blue, or even silver. Silver would stand out alot less and still be visible on my scikotics vinyls on my windows .. hmmm

Im not sure I know what frosted is, I'd have to see it. here's what I did this morning. went with a silver/grey color, kept the black drop. Also, obviously I'll have a professional clean it up and proportion the sections of the line, I'm just trying to get an idea.
I do think I like this one better, so here it is, revision two

Looking better but I think you are going to find that the door handle is a pain to do.......maybe not for a pro though.........
What does it look like lifted just a bit higher.....?

nah, barry can handle it. I'll let him handle replacing it or tweaking it before printing. I just want to get an idea to take to him.

So are you putting them on or having someone else do it?
