the massive mod list

My xB is themed around the college rivalry between the University of Miami (UM) and the Universiy of Florida (UF). Thus the name UM UF Box. Everyone in my family graduated from those schools so I thought I would make a vehicle the whole family could enjoy. Basically the truck is split down the middle, PS & DS. DS is UM and PS is UF. Best noted by the change in graphic colors on the sides of the vehicle. DS is Orange/green and chameleon, while the PS is Orange/Blue and Chameleon. I have used this them and will continue to use this theme throughout everything I do including the flags that rope off the truck. My scikotic decals also reflect the theme colors on their respective sides.
To carry on the football theme my seats are upholstered in authentic football leather, the centers are done in chameleon blue/green leather, again, to match the theme. In addition, the headliner is completely wrapped in football lether also and just recently finished was the cover for my 36" x 64" sunroof which is plexiglass and has an entire football field etched into it. The seat backs have removable football leather panels that have been signed by everyone in my family along with all kinds of slogans and put downs between the schools.
To complete the theme this week I have removed my door panels and replaced the mirrors which held screens, with stadium crowd shots of both schools. I am photoshoping pictures of my family members into the crowd scene. Other things to come, but this is not about future mods just what you see in pics so here is a list of what is done.

Interior:
Custom hand laid fiberglass dashboard. Lower dash has been shaved and smoothed as well as the steering column. The center console was reshaped to better reflect the football theme with ovals. Even the gauge cluster was replaced and custom built by Dakota digital and also made oval to match the theme of the vehicle. Here is a list of equipment in the dash:
2-DLS Irridium series 8.2" seperates
2-DLS Irridium Mids
2-DLS Irridium Tweeters
10" screen mounted in the center console Concept Screen
Air bag was gutted and reformed to house the Alpine TME-M770s Touch screen controller

The floor under the seats was cut and dropped 2" to accomodate 2 large boxes for the 12" DLS Irridium Series Subs which show just behind the rear seats.

The door panels were obviously remade out of fiberglass and smoothed, all controld for the doors and windows were relocated to a custom center console which contains all the switches and electronics to operate the vehicle.

The car is a 2 seater now, the entire interior was hand laid fiberglass and 1 of a kind, over 1200 hours have gone into the fabrication of the interior alone. The pieces directly behind the seat and along the custom built center console house the Capasitor and all my fuse blocks,(4 Total) inside the car. The enclosure then lifts to the rear exposing the amp rack. I am currently using :
-2 DLS A7's

The rest of my equipment includes:
-Alpine PXA H701 Multimedia Manager
-Apline VPA-B222 Vehicle Hub Pro
-Apline DVA-5210 DVD Player (Hidden in the center console)

Once you open the hatch you will notice the claim to fame for this vehcile. The refrigerated keg system. YES IT DOES WORK, YES IT DOES SERVE COLD BEER. I have plenty of witnesses and law enforcement officers that can attest to that.

EXTERIOR:

Outside it is obviously custom painted, I have shaved the door handles and it has a Kenstyle Body Kit. She sits on MOD 20" wheels, which she tucks thanks to a custom offset from MOD and the help of Chassis Tech with their one of kind Air suspension. I have a set of street scene grilles and JDM projector headlights.

ENGINE:

Is still relatively stock with the exception of the stainless steel engine covers from Scionpro, a Killerglass hose, and 4 more fuse blocks with 2 dry cell batteries from Tsunami.

Thank you all, I am always humbled when others appreciate the work and effort that goes into this kind of vehicle. I always strive to push myself to my creative limits and sometimes vehicle structural ones too. I hope that as a contributing member of this club and forum I have the chance to continue shedding positive light on our awesome club and the Scion culture.

Laterz,

Ivan

Ivan, I was fortunate enough to get to see your car in person in Miami in December and I remember telling everyone about it when I got back. Can't begin to describe how much it blows you away seeing it in person, the pictures don't do it justice. Congrats on a well-deserved title!:toast:

Looks like because of all the problems we had during the month of May my vehicle gets pushed out of the rotation for being displayed on the website ?

Anyone ... anyone ....

If I could turn back time I would. How about we make you eligible again without having to wait the full year?

No worries, I wouldnt resubmit myself anyhow until it was finished. Besides, allowing me to enter again may upset others and give them the wrong idea about me and or my intentions ....
