Hi guys whats up, My name is Cj, and i usually stay in the DSM/MOpar crowd, but i have TC in the family and have noticed i guess a lack, of custom/aftermarket parts..i build custom guage pods, dorr pods, pretty much anything Fiberglass, as well as CF. I was wondering if perhaps there was enuf interest to make a prototype and mold it... i was thinking of a 3 pod holder thats molded into the tom of the aterfall, that way its visable/functional, and your vents still work. if you guys have any other ideas, lmk. Pm me or email is quicker: blackvenge01@hotmail.com
few pods ive built for other cars:

Maybe something that flows down the side of the waterfall on the passenger side and dirrect the gauges towards the driver. Maybe holds like 4 gauges. Im down to be the guinne pig here for designs pictures etc.

Im down to help the cause...

I would love a two gauge pod that fits on top of the speedo area. Like a triangle on each side or a full over the top clean look. Something in carbon fiber to match the cf cluster.

I just got http://www.shop.retro-spec.net/product.sc;jsessionid=1DCAAA87945EA926A68603D56563 97EC.qscstrfrnt04?productId=86

I am willing to replace it though...

i was thinking the same thing, kinda of where it dips down, my only concern with that is the mounting, id hate to make something that is going to prevent/make it harder going back to stock .

if any one has a spare top part of the steering colum, id definitely build a 3 pod proto.

I can take mine off and send it to you if you would like. You can resin is a thin strip of sheet metal in an L shape on the sides or front and back of the pod on the inside shell allowing a thin strip of 3M double sided tape to be mounted to. Then it can be aplied to the surface its made for and removed if wanted to at a later date.

I can drawl a picture and then post it up if you get what im trying to say.

I hope this makes since...metal strips are located on the inside of the pod shell.

i was thinking of building onto it, so its all one piece and still fit like oem. the cover comes off as a top and bottom half correct? i figured make the mold the pod onto the top half, if it needed to be removed ect you would just remove it as you would normally. what do u think? plus FG and metal and plastic arnt the greatest friends lol... id be using an epoxy based resin, and in cold or hot weather the metal might F the resin up.

yea, i use silmar 249 resin with a waxing agent (mod-c) makes the final coat sandable....im looking good on my project.....the carbon is laid, and just waiting for the final layer to cure....then its sand, sand, sand, sand, smooth, sand sand sand smooth, clear, clear, wet sand, clear, wet sand, clear, clear!!!, hahahah

well right now i am in dubai deployed for about 3 months, and i get it local here, its just finding time to do it....but i usually get it from u.s. composites or elite motoring on ebay, they have good prices for cloth and resin.

I was wondering if you could make a housing to fit a Scanguage2. I was goingto mount mine on the steering column but would like a little cleaner install.
