So i went to the a paint place in Bakersfield on Friday called K-Daddy's.. (because its a friend of one of our members).. I told him what i wanted to do with the car which is some kinda crazy Black/Red 2tone.. and he tossed out some suggestions.. such as doing the 2tone but breaking it up with some type of silver "tribal" design just so its not like every other 2tone out there..

Well, we came to the end of our conversation and i ask:

So how much are we looking at... he walks around the car one last time, and says.. i'll do it for 4K...(using house of Kolor) hmmm...

Most of you know (as i do) that this is a pretty amazing deal... BUT unfortunately it's still a bit high for me.. so i guess for now im gonna miss out on a paint job cuz all the shops will be starting their SEMA cars soon, then i'll be SOL!... ah well, i guess i can do some other things in the meantime...

Ask him how much with the PPG special colors......... Mines PPG paint... much cheaper then house of kolors and worth the money.

the 2 toned black and red looks pretty sweet with silver breaking it up, thats how my car is and im very impressed with it

I got a partial sponsorship and sent the guy like 20 cars in 3 months... so I dont think how much mine cost would be good for you to know.

alright, thats cool.. well, i have the cash to do it.. but it would be the last thing i did to my car for the rest of the year! there's plenty of other things i could do with all that cash.

Exterior first!

The rest comes alot easier after you have a sick exterior.

Just find a reputable place...

and since you daily your I recommend clear bra as soon as the paints cured enough that or go get a daily beater like I do... haha Might be picking up a new daily this weekend! god I hope.

with as bad as the wind and sand/dirt is out here.. i would never get to drive my car if i painted it.. i wouldn't want 4k to go down the drain after one trip to work over the dry lake bed.. after i thought about it, it's pretty much usless for me to repaint the car when it would only look good for about a month.
