One coat of Dupli-Color Adhesion Promoter. One coat of MetalCast Ground Coat, followed by MetalCast Blue Anodized and Clear Coat. Lost count of clear but would have liked to have used more to give it more depth.
Completed and put back together in a day.

Would like to do something to Scion letters in radio door.

You didnt scuff it up abit? or clean it with some alchol or anything?

On mine took a fine fine scotch bright pad to the pieces... then cleaned with alchol then painted then clear.......

worked perfect.

No sanding, scuffing, scratching, scraping or prep other then the coat of Adhesion Promoter and the Ground Coat. The Ground Coat is used when surface isn't already shiny or metallic. I am lazy and have no patience. Lets hope I don't regret it. Finished product came out smooth and clear. I am satisfied with it. Might do switch panel where mirror controls are located next.

I think it looks great! But i would be VERY VERY carefull with it, the littlest thing will probably scratch the hell out of it

Not bad at all. A little bright for my liking, but it could just be the reflection of the light there.

No Nick. It is that bright. Lol. When the sun hits it just right, it's visible from across the parking lot. Kinda helps when my Alzheimer's kicks in and I forget where I parked it.

Huber- It's actually pretty tough thanks to the multiple clear coat layers

Domino- To remove the steering wheel pieces: There are two captive torx head screws on the sides of the steering wheel. Loosen them up and the Air Bag/ horn will pull out. Each piece has one screw holding it. Remove the plug for the radio controls. There are 3 very small screws holding the circuit board and switches in. You need to pry carefully on the switch sides to release them from their swivel points. It sounds harder than it actually is. Next time I will take pictures of the disassembly. Good Luck

Are these any better? I took these at dusk with no flash. Also painted the switch plate today.
