nj chapter photo shoot

i want some feed back on how you guys feeling on a photo shoot wait for march or do a winter one?march i think could be good since we can all take that day off or make time for it. i think we can get alot of cars since nj is rocking now def make the day fun and get some lunch.i think we all can chat about it at next meet on dec 18 at gabs love to here from you guys.

This is a great idea man, you should def wait til the warmer weather that way everyone who went into winter mode with the cars will have time to put all the goodies back on the cars and every one can def plan ahead and take the day off if they need to like you mentioned!!!

A winter shoot would be good. I'd suggest to wait until we get some snow on the ground and drive to a park or grassy area covered in snow. That way all the cars would look like they're sitting on the ground lol

and they would stand out ... just would need an overcast sky so that folks don't get snow blindness ...

Also, Dont know if we have a photographer within the chapter here but-
my sister is a professional photographer and I can probably get her to do our shoot for us once time comes around... I know she will not have a problem with it and she can actually suggest locations here in NJ...she is a wedding photographer and parks are her specialty!!! lemme know!

Her husband is the videographer and a video of the day might not be a bad idea.... a video of the shoot roll in ,the shoot itself and maybe the roll out to the bbq and just the day itself would be hot... I'll talk to him and see whats up!!

You don't and shouldn't have to provide everything. We all could chip in and bring a little something like what we did for the bbq over the summer at Mercer County Park.

Louise, entropysedge, is a professional photographer. She snapped some AWESOME pics over the summer at a few of our meets.

And Evan's right Dave if you opening up ya house for the bbq then the least we can do is chip in and help out!

I say when the time comes to do roll call everyone should also list what they are bringing to help out or if they are putting in $$$... but as a rule or something those giving money to help out should do so a least in week in advance so that all the food and what not is bought in time!! just my $.02

oh yea i didnt mean for it to sound like i would pay for anything i got a dealer that may help with some shows and events.def want people to chip in but opening up my house is always free lol.i like to say iam photographer my self got my good cam couple years ago then got a crazy slr last winter have done alot of peoples cars and team shoots.

I'm down for a spring shoot..(possibly at the end of April?) Maybe we can do a saturday or sunday and make a day of it.. a bbq.. we can all bring somethin.. it could be fun! maybe at a park..or maybe even at Sandy Hook or something?

This would be pretty sick man! I am always up in Easton man and I never see no fellow scikos where you guys hide at?- lol My sis live in Palmer (5 minutes from Nazareth)

We are all a Sciko family. This doesn't have to be limited to just the NJ chapter. We can get as many people involved and for those that want to have just the NJ scikos pictured, arrange the cars that way. That way everyone is happy.

I agree. There are some cool little parks along the Delaware River all the way up to the Water Gap that would be good for photos. Or could go up to VanSant airport (they also offer glider rides which is cool for those who like that kind of things)

i was talking to alot of the members and that's very far for most of them maybe we can take a poll and find a place for everyone to meet in the middle love to see a big turn out.

yea when i joined back in 2006 we have alot of tc i was the only xb but now since got alot of new memeber we got alot of xbs now.
