Did an engine swap a few weeks ago - old engine went bad, and got a used one (30k miles) real cheap. Did the swap, drove it around all week, felt perfect.

The car died the other day - so I went to check the codes and my scanner wouldn't talk to the ECM. I thought the ECM was blown, and started checking pin resistance, etc... When I unplugged one of the ECM harnesses, I heard the fan go on.

So here's the deal. If I partially unplug the E3 ECM wiring harness, I can get the scanner to talk to the computer (weird). It then pulls all sorts of codes - basically every engine block sensor code comes up. It also thinks the temperature is too high, though the car hasn't been started for days. I cleared all the codes, and they just came back.

Anyone got any ideas?
