recently, i purchased a CF heat shield from Carbonlux, and had LOTS of people ask me a lot of questions about it. they are not massed produced yet, so i just thought id share a couple pics and a link. i know many of us that have the Strup exhausts have had an issue with it migrating and resulting in melting our bumpers if the issue is not fixed soon enough (mine took appx 4 weeks). also, there has been a lot of talk about ppl wanting a product like this. so, here you go :)

I saw that the other day...i though it was cool...but it looks a little funny, like its not real CF, especially in the third pic about the the tip...

Its real CF just a shitty weave, looks like they pulled the CF to much before they put the resin down.......

Looks nice man. I remember Robby "fixing" your exhaust with a spare coat hanger at the Cammelback Show while I was out there and seeing your poor melted bumper. I like the way that looks around your exhaust.

yeah, the funny thing is, i started a post on the infamous scionlife, about what cf pieces people would like to c for the tc for a sponsor of mine to start producing and all of a sudden all the suggestions and ideas i had put together started popping up that people were all of a sudden producing them lol thought it was pretty funny. heres the link...

The weaving for the one on ebay for the tC doesnt look bad.....Just wonder what the shipped one would look like.....And the price is a little steep... I paid 200 for my cf rs1 lip with shipping and that id a lot more cf than the exhaust shield..

Chapter member put one on his tC before yesterday's show... he didn't put it on right, but its still not too shabby.

yeah, the price tag is a bit steep, but i needed one to cover the melted part of my bumper. plus i love the CF, and it was the only thing available that i had found. im happy with it though.

I'm getting Strup and I think this would be great for me to get... $80 though? Thats BS. Can anyone make something like this for me or suggest something else (besides not getting the Strup...) Is there a way I could angle the exhaust so it doesn't melt the hole?

Damn I want one of those, I don't use ebay though. It'd be nice if there was an actual site to order one.

Yeah, these things are pretty cool. I would love to get one for my car, but it won't fit right with that kenstyle kit. =(
