roughly 2 hours from desmoines to cedar rapids, ya where pretty scinergy heavy in iowa but were hoping to draw in a good chicago crowd, hey you might have a cedar rapids scikotics by then, cisco is seeing if his dealership is interested in starting one yet, they were pretty excited after ames 3.0

Hope to see you guys there. We are also having a BIG calander search car show the following Saturday, Sunday after Asylum. That is our big show of the year. The local Toyota (Cisco) sponsored the Scion classes. Fujz.com is one of the show sponsors and will have a booth there. Anyway, there will be 3 trophies in each Scion Class plus an additional class (best stock Scion-1 trophy). So that is a total of 10 trophies dedicated to Scions. (minor note- all the trophies kick ass and are large!) There will be an SPL contest-Night glow contest. We have all the info listed on our website. Also if anyone is interested or has and Questions about the show we will have a booth at Asylum and we will be in Tulsa on friday, saturday, & sunday. We look forward to seeing you all down south. Oh, one last thing, If you take 35 north to I-80 to I-380, the roads are VERY good. So you wont have any problem with lowered vehicles. Trust me, I drove the bouncy red mazda to Vegas going that route and the worst part was in Oklahoma City, after that you are good to go. Thanks Guys! James@Wheel Art

dont know about the back yard cause ive got a apt but i hope you all can make it, its like a 4 hour drive it really isnt that bad. we might even be able to hook people up with hotel rooms for those coming from far away. Cant promise that yet but chad from wheelart mentioned something like that. Anyways hope chicago can come and maybe some more peeps!

yeah some of the city roads in CR are bad. i'm in iowa city (the place where u intersect I-80 and 280. and i'm right off of 280. So when u come it'd probably just be easier to meet there first and roll up as a group

This sucks i will not be able to make this show. my box has to go to the body doctor. i got in an accident on 7/25 and the drivers side is all fucked up and i have a big ass dent in the rear quarter panel above the gas door. but at least everybody involved was ok and no i can get the box painted my way :md: :rofl:

I am glad they moved this show. My hometown has a yearly celebration that weekend and I have a lot of family coming to town. I wasn't going to be able to make the CR show because of it. Thank goodness this show is getting moved back a little bit.

They did one at Asylum too, but I have better pics of the Ames show. The trophy traditionally lights up (okay, so it's only a two show tradition, but both trophies had lights!)

def recommend it. THe night show is awesome and the day show is just fun. I reccommend both but if your at work or have obligations on friday things happen. THe beauty about this time of year is that it wont start and get good until late.
