Well i am in the market for the Kit now.. and i was wondering if youz'guys know where i can get the full kit for a good price. And for those who have the kit, please let me know how much you paid for painting it. I have a shop that does all my paint work, but i need to know the ball park figure..
I will add (later) the Kaminari Reverse Cowl (CF), and the rear CF Adjustable Wing.. Are there any concerns i should be looking out for so i know what to look for? I will be soon dropped on H&R Coils so i wont have to worry about ride height.. Thanks for your help..

I paid $2,200 through my dealer when I bought my 07. That was painted and installed. They did forget the grille pieces which are separate for about $115. One thing I learned is never buy it on eBay! They are usually seconds or kits other people hacked up already. Probably better to go to the source on this one.

if you have a shop that doea all your paint, why not ask them! they would be more likely to give you a better estimate.

Do the dealers offer that kit?? 2200, sounds a bit high, but probably close to what i will be paying, maybe 1-300 off price..

As for asking my shop i already know what they are offering to paint it, or atleat an round about estimate, but wondered if anyone else might have a ball park figure...
As for the kit there was a place i think offered 1175 shipped, and for about 6-800 i could get it painted and installed most likely through my connection. so that is still close to 2000, but if i got it through the dealer i might be able to get a good deal on it right away..
I got into an accident a month ago, and they are being asses about my repairs including not paying for my rim since the guy that i was working with said i didnt tell him about the rim (BS), and that it wasnt related to the crash.. A 500 series BMW 2006, slammed in the back of me and her airbag went off. She wasnt paying attention (cell phone) and over a bridge. She only hit me going about 15-20 miles per hour, and there is not that bad of damage to the rear bumper, and is a little off... I really hate MetLife for trying to screw me.. I want to get a lawyer but i dont want ot spend more than what the damage done.
Oh well.... I will be getting about 800 for my damage to replace everything, so i decided to go for a full kit while i am at it...
thanks fo the help..

If it's that cheap shipped, make sure it's a URETHANE kit and not fiberglass. Kaminari no longer makes fiberglass kits.

I agree. There are a few fiberglass kits floating around but you don't want that headache. Check out the Kaminari website regarding knockoffs and how to spot them. My dealership was willing to do all sorts of mods including the Body Kit and Lambo doors and they include it in the purchase price for financing. $2200 was a good price considering the kit plus shipping then prepping and painting, and installing. It is covered under the vehicle warranty now also. Remember when ordering this kit that the grille material is an option ($115 for black powder coat, $90 for Aluminum finish).
