Upon closer thought and scruteny (sp), he's missing the silver "frame" piece, so that could account for the crappy look.

I've decided to be a test subject and bought one (Flat Black). It should arrive prior to the 14th Meet.

In my humble opinion, it looks like the carpet doesn't match the drapes. *Wink* It won't match the bottom grille. That would throw the whole look off.

I just received it today. Its not as bad as everyone is saying. I did have to tremel a bit (the two bottom corners and a lip in the middle), but it came out pretty well. One thing that is noticeable are small gaps to the left and right of the grille.
