Hey guys. So, as most of you know I'm doing way too much work on my interior...myself. Anyways, I've been puttying over stuff and sanding it to get rid of that textured shit, so check out what I did with my speedo cover. It's not painted yet...obviously! I'll post up more pictures when I'm finally done!

Very cool Mike, can't wait to see it all finished.
I'm still not sure about the whole red/yellow thing though....lol.

Hahaha...yeah, it's cool. I just...am really tired of yellow. And I really like red. And well...I don't really expect many to like it, but it's not about them! :rofl2:

Thanks everyone. I dunno when I'm gonna get a chance to spray it though. It's sanded, but I'm so busy with work and school...it's gonna be hard to find time to finish all the painting for the show this weekend. Probably won't get to show.

I got my paint from automotivetouchuppaint.com. It's color matched to Scion's own Absolutely Red. It's Sherwin Williams Automotive paint. They had the best prices and it's ready to spray.

Much more productive than that fucking piss project :rofl2:
In all seriousness it looks really nice man.. Now go do your whole dash :)

I forget what the shit is called, I can find out if you are interested, but it's a primer that they are using now on door panels/dashes that are textured and it fills in the grooves almost like a thin layer of bondo, you sand it down, respray, sand it down, primer, paint, clear.. and instant fiberglass :) It's really nice stuff and easier to work with than glass and way cheaper...
Look into it...
Personally I think the Red/Yellow clash like crazy and the only reason I say that is that the colors do not transition well from the inside to the outside of the car... I'm all about smooth transitions or fades... but i'm sure you have your methodology behind it and it shows you are putting a lot of hard work into it... keep it up man can't wait to see what you do next!
