Hey guys, was curious if any of you have heard about these. The company has been around since '97 and the supercharger has been featured in several New Product lists in well known import car mags, and has won several legit awards.

Its a scam. Engines suck in air faster than these can spin. Remember, turbos operate at several HUNDRED THOUSAND RPM's. You would need a semi full of batteries to make an electric motor go close to that fast. All the electric supercharger is, is a leaf-blower that hooks up to your intake.

I would say scam however the scion video's with the leaf blower on youtube are hilarious the first turbo ever was electric and came from a fireplace. they have been used succesfulley but they are dangerous and can put the car into a lean condition quick not to mention they don't compress the air enough or flow enough CFM. I say go with the real thing a real turbo and if you went electric you would probabley do less damage to your motor with a twenty shot of nitrious. they are just not good on cars. however if you decide to get into lawnmower racing they are used very sucessfulley in that sport. I would suggest staying with the scion community instead of racing a john deer.

I like this line....

Total unrestricted air-flow is 800 CFM when stacked as shown, or 1600 CFM when mounted in parallel to get 5% HP gain on engines larger than 5.0L or over 300HP.

A buddy of mine did some testing with a simular set up. It work to increase airflow at low RPMs. He designed his to go for 5 seconds to push air in quickly when he pushed the pedal to the floor and then turn off as the engine began to pull more air than the fan could pull. Other than that I see it as a waste of money. Just my .02
