It will be June 9th in a parking garage in downtown Tulsa. So far all of the local Scion dealerships are gong to be involved and most of our major sponsors, including Strup, Killerglass and Perfectlyround.com.

We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Sane, Twisted, and Sciko for the tC, xB and xA. The xD won't be out until July so we don't have to worry about that.
We will also have Best Inside Yo Ride, Best Outside Yo Ride, Best Vrooom, Most Scikotic, Best in Show and People's Choice (if I remember to have people vote on it this year...lol). :mj:

- $72 for a King or two doubles and you can put as many people in the rooms as you want.
We have a section of parking lot blocked off for Scion parking only and there will be overnight security provided by us for that section of lot. They will also be trying to book the rooms near those parking spots.
We have more space reserved this year in the hospitality suites for the after party, which will again be a pool party if it doesn't rain.

I would say build the car for you. You can ask people when you get down there what class you should be in. Make the car a reflection of yourself, not built for a particular show. Trophies don't even matter to me anymore (yea, they are a nice bonus though). I go to shows like these to chat with fellow Scion owners, meet new people, and laugh with old friends.

Who's to say what happens next year but this is second annual Asylum.
And yes, it is turning into one of the biggest Scion shows around.

I don't about any other big shows, keep your eye out for an Exposed around your area, they are usually pretty big.

Sounds good!! I know this is a bit off topic but I gotta give you guys credit. This is by far one of the best organized online/offline car clubs/groups that I've ever seen. Not to mention extremely helpful and friendly. The Scion community is definitely an added bonus I didn't know I'd be getting when I bought my box.....the dealers should really use this as a strong selling point!

Oh I'd love to come to the show, regardless of how the vehicle shows right now...and it's only like a 13 hour drive. But we are taking the kids to SeaWorld and probably Busch Gardens the weekend of 06/15 and I just couldn't swing the extra time off to come up there. We are so short nurses right now it's a bitch to get time off sometimes.

Yeah, I wanted to go with THansenite last year, but I just couldn't swing it with summer classes and work. But now that I have my xA, nothing can keep me from going. All the stories I heard made me so jealous and pissed at myself for not going last year. I can't wait. It will be great to be at a show with more than 3 xAs.

I would ask the red cross about ink because I don't think it is a problem unless it's just been done. remember there are lots of places to draw blood anyway they do hands ect. anyway they screen all blood anyway primary concern with tats is hepatitus but they screen for that and will notify you if they find anything in screening. hope I answered all questions that I could I am gonna start working on the other stuff soon jon I'll be in touch hope you guys have a fun at the show. wish I could be there maybe one of these days. anyway have fun be safe and help out if you can. When i originally made the call they told me they were in very short supply in the area I'm sure with all the great members in this group you guys will come through and set an example for others to follow.

Probably the Red Roof Inn. I sent out a proposal through the chamber of commerce at the beginning and the Red Roof wasn't one of the hotels that responded. There might be some cheaper motels or something but I honestly do not have time to call around and find them.

How much cash should I bring? NJ is kinda spoiled on gas prices - I can still get regular for 2.79/gal.
So its about $100 for hotel. I'm figuring 4 fill ups each way (~1350 miles). At about $30/fill up.
So at base I'm looking at $350.
