Yup.....try hitting up the Southeast forum on Scionlife. It may help spread the word. In Florida we have chapters in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Jacksonville and Daytona

Just made a post over there! Yeah, I saw all the other chapters, they are just so far away. I'm so far west that I can literally be at the AL state line from my house in like 10 minutes! :blink2:

If you are asking about other good reasons for a Pensacola Chapter just spend about 10 minutes browsing the latest posts. Scikotics are freakin everywhere and they are always doing something. I always check "Todays Posts" when I first get here. Right now alone there are posts on 3 different install days...five threads on shows...and at least two or three good "look what I did/new mod threads. They donate money from proceeds of raffles/fund raisers to excellent causes ...(i.e. cancersucks.com (http://cancersucks.com/home.htm)) and not to mention they give back to their own members in need! Really more than your typical "car club" for sure. Check out this link when you have time ... History of Scikotics (http://www.scikotics.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1564).

If you mean what are some other good things about the area...guess that all depends on what you like to do. Being in Ft Walton you are pretty much halfway between Pensacola and Panama City. If you like to go clubbin there are a HUGE amount of those. You like buying new clothes/shoes? Silver Sands in Destin has a kick ass outlet center....so does Destin Commons. There are a lot of really good places to eat between Ft Walton and Pcola. Pcola is actually having some excellent concerts now. My Chemical Romance will be here Tuesday...Tool will be back at the end of May...and Godsmack will be in Mobile (only 40 mins from Pcola) in May. I know you are military and see that kind of stuff everyday...but Pcola has the NAS Naval Air Museum and it is absolutely incredible (and they like to have car shows there...LOL). If you like sports then Mobile has a semi-pro baseball team...Pensacola has a semi-pro baseball team that is really good...Pensacola has a hockey team...YES, I said hockey...LOL. And if fishing is your deal you are right next door (in Destin) to literally some of THE very best fishing anywhere in the world.

OKAY...so now that I sound like the damn Florida tourist information center...LMAO...I'm done. Hopefully you'll see that you should be able to have a pretty decent time while stationed in the area.

Oh...one more thing....considering there are approximately NINE military bases between Panama City and Pensacola (that's only about a 200 mile stretch...the girls have heard all the military lines....come up with something new...:toast::toast:

Well...had to make an unexpected run over to Panama City today...it's about 140 miles east of Pensacola. I must have stuck business cards on twenty different Scions. Hopefully some of them will show up here in the next few days. I saw this really nice black box turning into Hurlbert Field today...I just couldn't catch him before he made the front gates...LOL!!!

Anyway I already belong to the MS chapter & recruit heavily for them.....

I just came back from a trip to P'cola this weekend... Thus, I've been keeping my eye out for a P'cola chapter.. I'll keep in touch with ya.. If I do get to make the move then heres' ya another member.. AND.. another recruiter!

I had planned on continuing to attend the MS chapter events even if i did move.. coz those guys rock.. my sciko family!! So yah.. meeting with MS/LA chapters would be easy.. the drive is not that bad!! I make that drive down there like every other weekend or so... we love it there!!

Initially I was thinking Pensacola since I was trying to get it going....but it seems that our members will be ranging from here to Ft Walton Beach. The stretch of the Gulf of Mexico between Pensacola and Destin is referred to as "The Emerald Coast" so I was thinking maybe Emerald Coast Chapter...whatcha think??
