Don't get it. It is $35 for a reason.

There is nothing wrong with that bar. It does not matter if it costs $35. I had that same one for 2 years with no problems at all. I just recently bought a brand new Greddy upper strut bar. The reason I bought the Greddy is because I got a heck of a good deal on it and I also show my car in car shows and to me the Greddy looks better for its apperance for when I have my hood open at the car shows.

I have the DC sports strut bar and I've taken it off and realized how bent it actually is.... (driven on it for about 45,000 miles) Its quite twisted and it makes me glad I have it.

As far as strength is concerned a good quality aluminum CAN have as much strength as a carbon steel (again depending quality). But there are several different levels of both. for the most part, judging by the cost, I would definitely say that it is a lower quality 6061 billet aluminum used. here is a good article on the strengths of different 6061 aluminumshere (http://www.cvfracing.com/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=10)

Now if your really just going for show looks, and not caring for performance...then go for it.

If you want performance out of it, I'd go with a different one.
