trying to get the new hub adapter on

this is where we had issues. the momo hub adapter didnt have a properly sized hole to let the electronics pass through. we had to do a little modding.....

i'm happy with it :) the wheel is an inch or two closer to me, but not tight by any means. i've got some electrical noise issues to work out tommorow, but other than that, everything works fine!

the cruise control has not been moved as of yet. I'm still figuring out the wiring. eventually it'll be relocated to the fuse box area.

1. Which lights did you use in the air vents and how did you install them?

2. How did you make that little plate/platform for the ps2? I have one in the same place but haven't figured out how to make it look good in there.. and/or how to make it lay flat like that!

3. I like the blue center console. I'm thinkin' about doing mine red.. just not sure if i want to just paint it.. or do Carbon fiber and just do a red clear candy over it.

Nice ride dude. How much do you think would be the cost in total plus installation if someone were to get that done at a shop?

I was under the impression that you have to discard the cruise control with an aftermarket Steering wheel. So, this is not true. That has been the only thing stopping me from doing a steering wheel. But if yours works out fine, I'll be doing the same.

I don't see why you would have to, its a totally different system all by itself. Its just attached to the same area, thats all.

Hey Neothin, you can't use that AVIC-D2 touchscreen with the steering wheel buttons can you?

Hey Neothin, you can't use that AVIC-D2 touchscreen with the steering wheel buttons can you? not without an adapter. PAC something or other is what i keep seeing

Nice ride dude. How much do you think would be the cost in total plus installation if someone were to get that done at a shop? i dont own/manage a shop, i have no idea. if the hub adapter would've fit, it would've only taken use about an hour to do the swap, and shops charge 50-100 an hour... so....

1. cathodes. you can see it in the pictures lol.
2. cardboard. cut the cardboard to a rough shape, keep trimming until it's perfect. transfer the design to a piece of thin board. cut it out (we used an air saw). we then used contact cement and some black suede to cover it.
3. ok

thanks guys!
