Heyy, i know this has probably been brought up before but how do you remove the dash, vents, the 2 pieces of the steering wheel, etc? I want to paint it white but i don't know what paint to use. Any suggestions? Oh and should i use different paint if i'm painting the engine cap and the fuse box, etc. :D

If its like the tc most of all the parts can be pulled off just by using ur fingers to get it out. Um.... the stearinwheel I have no idea..

As for paint id recommend using rustoleum, use a flat white then clear gloss finish if u want that glossy look.

Be sure to light sand everything first so the paint sticks to the surface well.

THanks! cuz i tried pulling it out, the xd has the dash in 3 parts, the middle part is really hard to take out, i need help, i'm scared to break it lol. yay! i'm excited to paint it. oh, for the engine cap, did you cover the words? Or paint over it then paint in the words with whatever color you want?

One part may have to come out first before the others can even come out. Start from the bottom and work ur way up.

U can do it that way if u want. I didn't do mine I'm savinf for a carbon fiber cover.

All three pieces of the dash just pull off, the middles is harder but remove the top first and then the middle piece.
Steering wheel is more complicated. I haven't done it but I think you have to remove the plastic covers from the steering column to access a couple screws on each side to remove those pieces.
For engine bay, most people use something like Duplicolor high heat paint. It has a ceramic in it to allow for higher temps. You can get it at any auto parts store.
