I am not sure about the sound. As far as quality, Borla is pretty high up in that department.

borla makes the TRD muffler for the XA and XB if that helps you out any why the TRD mufflers turn yellow i have no idea but generally borla is in the top tier of exhuast companies I would stay with the borla They do alot of R&D

From personal experience the Blitz exhaust for the xB/xA sounds horrible.
The Strup exhaust on the other hand sounds awesome and we get discounts on those. :)

I had a Blitz on my xB for about a year and a half till the top hanger broke and ripped a 2" hole in the top of the pipe, so I had to take it off. Also where it connects to the factory pipe is a bad design. It just slips over and clamps on with a U-bolt clamp, not the factory clamp, and I kept having problems getting it to stay in place.

Stick with the borla...
Why are you thinking about changing it?

I took mine to an exhaust systems (http://www.carparts.com/Replacement-Exhaust-Systems/600022995.car) shop, had them cut the 1.5" section out from just after the second Cat and weld 2.25" pipe all the way back to the TRD axle back, also removing the 1.5" flange on the axle back that was there only to allow it to bolt on to the stock pipes.
I'm glad you were able to contribute to this thread that hasn't been touched in 4 1/2 years.
