Need help identifying bulb

Does anyone know what type of bulb is used in that empty compartment below the heater controls? My dealer is stumped. ( I have lost all confidence in them now). They could only sell me the whole wiring harness at a cost of $35.00. I really want to find this bulb in Blue also if anyone knows a source. That white light always staying on is really annoying me.

the cubby hole light is: 74 or also known as T1.5, most places you will find it as a 74 wedge bulb.
