New System (Pics UP!)

After nearly 2 labor-filled weeks for my sponsor, KustomAuto.Net and alot of stress and outlay for me, I drove my car home at 1:00am Thursday morning. Needless to say the system is SLAMMING. There's some tweaks I need to work on (like a new head unit ALPINE, Dynamat, and fosgate components), but here's the basic layout:

2x 12" P2 Fosgate Sub 2ohm
2x P3001 Fosgate Mono Amps 2ohm
1x P4001 4 Channel Amp to power mids/highs
1x Incredible fucking enclosure a mix between glass, vinyl, wood, and acrylic...

I put a lot of pressure on these guys and they made a nearly impossible deadline. I really have to give them props for coming through. The system sounds incredible, hit's harder than my old system (which was severely in distress aka broken), and is simply gorgeous... (Yes I'm saying that because it's my system, but it's really really nice.

We took some pictures and hopefully will post some tomorrow when I get them from KustomAuto. Or I will simply take my own. I was not sure what to expect, but LoS and the krew there made my jaw drop when I saw how "clean" this system and how hard it pounded...

I went ahead and added a Viper 5000 with glass + proximity sensor (gotta pick up and program the proximity saturday) for a bit of "sleepy time" security. These guys are by far some of the best out there. I've dealt with a lot of vendors before but they really busted ass on this system and I'm glad to have them onboard as a local sponsor.

Yes, good stuff.. Fosgate all the way....
THe only thing i didnt go with is the Fosgate cap... I got a batcap which is really good stuff and used in some competition level systems.. really keeps a killer charge..

yeah i went with the RF cap bc i had alot of gift certificates and shiz for bestbuy... i only ended paying $80 outa my pocket for a $200 cap

Here's some "ok" pictures right after construction. The vinyl hasn't been wiped down and is dusty and needs to be shined.. But the pictures give you the basic idea..

A great combination of fosgate components, a really tricky box design (getting the air volume sucked), mdf, acrylic, fiberglass, and vinyl..

Nah dood, I'm not a bass-whore... Nor am I competing in sound-offs.... no point in me wasting money just yet getting it metered.. it slams and hits really hard and sets off alarms within a huge radius and sounds great... that's all that matters to me

I didnt know people charged to meter which is why i asked. But i guess since you arent doing competitive sound-offs you dont need a meter reading, I was just curious what you were hitting. Either way the install is extremely nice looking.
