So I picked this up off ebay last week...The best thing about it is that its the exact same color blue, metal flakes and all, as the blue I use on my interior... :mrb:

Anyway, I went and tried it out and I can deffinately tell the difference. It only weighs less than three pounds of aluminum(sp).

yeah thats the meagan racing H frame brace that is made for the XB that I tested for them and proved it would fit the XA and posted it already in my suspension setup post. it's definetley worth the 80 bucks it costs shipped. of course mine was free since I did the testing but it's a great brace and makes a huge handling diffrence so I agree with you. I posted months ago that it made a huge diffrence nobody paid much mind to it but it's one of the most important handling parts you can buy for the XA or XB.

I just bought one for 74 but I have a lifetime Megan warranty with it....The one you got for 49 bucks probably doesn't have that....There is the reason for the differenct in price...I can't wait to get mine and install it!!

probabley not but those braces are not gonna break they are very well made I scrape the heck out of mine every singel day down my driveway and I have no problems. I am full sponsored of course but I would say with this part get ti at the cheapest price it isn't gonna break unless you wreck you ride.

they are definentley a must have piece and the welds are solid lightweight solid piece that trueley provides handling gains at a good price nobody should run without one in my opinion. you'll see once you put it on the diffrenc it make for th people in doubt. those flimsy stock supports are just not enough.

^ Do you have that exact brace Bryan? Or do you have a different brand...

I have the meagan brace made for the XB I did the testing for them to prove it wold fit the XA and they are all made by the same company they are all outsourced so with this part it doesn't matter the brand it's the same part exactley a few guys in my group have bought them off ebay and there is no diffrence I got mine for free for testing it. when buying one cheaper is better your gonna get the same part no matter the brand just look for that blue colored h frame brace at the best cost they are all the same from my experience. the ones for the XB will fit the XA and vise versa.

the thing though is that if you get it from a Megan dealer then you get the Megan Lifetime Warranty on the product...mine was 74 bucks but I got that warranty on the product....I feel better driving with it if it has that on it!!!

If you feel better with a warranty thats great but the warranty only protects you from manufacturing defects. I will be the first to attest that after driving with that thing on the bottom of your car after a few years it will be beat to hell i had to take mine off recntley and where the bolt holes are the knobs were bent sourounding them i had to cut out part of the metal on one just to get a socket in to take it off. i live down a quarter mile long gravel driveway with a steep hill that i frequelntley get air on coming out of the driveway. so get the warranty if you want to I got mine free so I of course don't mind beating the piss out of it. the part hasn't failed in any way and has handled all my abuse and wrecklace driving on a daily basis so personally i would buy the least expensive one i could find alot of you guys have your cars dropped two inches and it is gonna scrub like crazy especially on an XA going over speedbumps or gravel roads or driveways. from my experience they may be light but they are built like a tank and take abuse so to me if i get five years of hard driving out of it it's worth going on ebay and buying a replacement or calling meagan and having them send me another one free if the same staff member works there in the future.

Am I correct in assuming that the $69 Greddy front lower arm bar is the "H" brace piece? I hate how they used the same pic for both items. Arrggg! LOL

I'm running a bunch of suspension stuff:

WR Front strut bar
Tein Basics
Tanabe chassis brace (4 pt.)
Hotchkis sway bars (front isn't in yet)
oh, and the Proxes 4's are nice too.

The go-kart statement is very true.
