quick question. if anyone had the Weapon R four point harness, where did you or suggest to place the ends if i want to still have passengers in the back. also, i havent talked to Weapon R yet but do they have the rails to mount the seats to the tC? i was just wondering cuz if not im going to have to have my dad make them before HIN this saturday. Also i dont want to spen alot of money on the rails either. thanks in advance!

I saw somewhere online where a guy just used the anchors behind the rear seats. The two shoulder harnesses came together into one belt and that belt was bolted down to that anchor point. I think they had the belt coming between the seat and backrest of the rear seat. Quick, easy, and you don't have to fab anything up. The bad part is it doesn't look as "cool" as having a harness bar.

4 point harnesses are useless - If you need more protection, get a 5-point.
All racing seats in the tC require custom brackets - nobody I know of has made a set of brackets yet.

Jason, I'm almost positive that weapon has the brackets for the tC. Call Chris to make sure. I know of someone in our chapter that had black and grey Weapon-R seats with brackets for sale $300....If you want I can see if he still has them for sale....Let me know

You have to mount them into the rear belts... Thats the only proper way to do it unless you get a cage.... A bar from driver to passenger will not be good without bars coming down to support it....
ANd if you go straight down and get in a accident... kiss your life goodbye...
Please just do it right.

Well if I remember the latch is on the seat....
So you need to drill a hole or have a piece on the seat bracket...

i have a 4 point in mine and if u look between the seat and the back rest ull see two lil bars connected to the seats, almost as if they are there for this purpose. then u can keep using ur back seats

^^^^^^ True but where are you belts connected to? From the looks of your last pic, it looks like your seats are down. Are you able to have people in the back seats or are the belts ran to the back? what he is looking for is the bar that goes along the bottom benid the front seats so he can still use the rear seats.

We have no back seats...Two Seat FTW! No fat cow chicks getting in the back of our tC...:pilot:
Secondly, I would NOT strap the harness to a bar in the floor....you crash, and your back will break into itty bitty pieces.

Thats not what he said...
Jason wants a harness bar for the tc... since they dont have one next best place is to run to the rear seats where the seat belts hook up... Thats why he asked you about yours... Because Jason doesnt wanna do that. He takes people in the back seat.

yeah i'm looking to get a harness bar as well. i have mine temporarily mounted on the floor which isn't good but i have people in the rear all the time so its needed. I've been talking to motorfx and they can make me one but 350 is kinda steep
