waterfall/double din

Hey guys, I have a double din touchscreen and Im using the stock hinges from the scion radio, and my waterfall wont go in because the door doesn't have enough clearance. Ive seen lots of double dins with the stock waterfall and door so im trying to figure out how to do it.

mine has the same problem and it sucks! I hope someone can give us some info!!
