I've seen alot of exhaust systems on alot of different cars. Some sound like a dream, some sound like a nightmare. If I were to get a new exhaust (axel Back) what would be the best brand to look into, with out going ape shit on my pocket book. and please post some pics of your after market exhaust systems. it's a major alteration to a car, show it off!!

It really depends on what you are looking for. What do you want as far as sound, size, tip, etc.?

i want a deep, rich tone that hummms not screams
Like the TRD on a TC, when i had my TC it was the perfect sound. whats the equivilant to that for an xB?

Strup is about as deep a note as you can get.

are axle backs easy to install, or should i get it done professionally

Extremely easy to install. One bolt and pry it off the hangers.

And we get a discount on Strup. :)

I have a DC sports on mine. Its a little loud inside the car. But I was able to drive in another car while someone was driving my xB. And it sounded great. Kinda deep tone. Not ricey at all.

TRD makes an exhaust for the xb.

The TRD exhaust does sound pretty good, I had it on mine when I bought it.
But I replaced it with the Strup and have been extremely happy with it.

strup all the way best exhaust in my opinion injen best intake in my opinion TRD heaer best header in my opinion followed up by strup and then DC then OBX ceramic coated

i have the GReddy Evo II on mine and i love it. it's quiet when you want it to be, and loud when it needs to be. it's not annyoing on the highway or anything like that and it fills the exhaust cut out perfectly.

i have the JDM N1 Axleback from ssuperstore.com - $109 + shipping.

it's pretty quiet with the silencer in, and nice and deep with the silencer out, i run mine without the silencer full time.
it's got a pretty nice tone.

when we hang out again, i'll rev it up for you and take you for a spin in my xB.
