More BOOST will help, It will stop ticking around 15lbs I do belive, so will the motor!!!

For real though, does it just need to be adjusted?

Brandon... if its that loud then the lifters may need to be adjusted and I can almost tell you the cause of the noise...when you guys rev the motors up to listen to the superchargers or hear the exhaust, you are reving the motors with no "load" on them ask any half way good mechanic and he will tell you that is VERY BAD for ANY motor..engines are designed to run at a higher RPM but only under a "load" ie. driving, on a dyno and such just a free, no load high rpm rev is terriable on a motor, I have seen several motors throw a rod, or break lifters from people reving the motors just to hear them...thats my.02 but you'll never see me do it !!!

Well, good point Brad. I know revving is not good on the motor. Just not sure who to take the car to. I know Jim Norton is $90 an hour but I have $250 dollar's in cards to spend there, and what better way to spend it, than getting rid of this god aweful noise.

well lifters cant be adjusted, or i least i dont think they can. what im thinking is oil starvation, the lifters are not oiling up as much..

I was thinking a lifter came loose or are not getting lubed up well. Typically from what I have heard lately is what you are speaking of about not getting enough oil around that lifter.

What you are most likely hearing is the rocker arm "tapping" on the top of the valve stem, it is actually the rocker arm that needs to be adjusted on the rocker shaft, the dealership can do this as long as the arm is not bent, in that case it would need replacing..again dealership, the lifter itself is most likley fine.

and when you take it in either 1: have someone follow you up there 2: bring enough food andentertainment to last you several days. when they tell you when the car will be done ALWAYS remember this one thing: it will be atleast triple the time the tell you so go prepared..

may the force be with you :guns:
