View Full Version : Need help from Killerglass owners!

Hey guys. This weekend Ill be reinstalling the Killerglass hose back on my car. But I have a question. Did you guys peel off the thicker portion of the hose? The part between the white lines.

Cut mine off and left it for dead.
Make sure when you flush the fluid out you run water through the motor with the drain plug open until the thermostat opens. Its the only way you will get ALL of the old fluid out, unless of course you are leaving it red....lol.

^^We just popped the lower hose off the first time....lol
Then we poured Distilled water down the top hose a few times...Getto method but I had no red in the lines.
Well kool....Now I know. Hopefully we wont fuck it up again. Thanks guys.

I took the thicker foam piece off mine. I love my killerglass. I still have the stock pink fluid running through my car, but will be replacing it with red for show season. No problems with it. Had it in all winter with temps as low as -20 and absolutely no problems.

I think Jon has green coolant, thats where I got the info for Prestone low tox for mine.

I'm going on a year with mine installed and a ton of road trips and it has held up perfect.

I asked this of killerglass before the have been tested in extreme Heat and Cold with No Problems

I change out my fluid with the BMW coolant which is blue, to this point no problems knock on wood

i imagine the bmw coolent a hell of a lot better for your engine anyways good idea .

coolant is coolant, its just different colors so they can charge you more for it

Not necessarily, Prestone Lotox is much less toxic to animals if they happen to drink some.
