Oznium dome lights makes the dark go away

Picked up some of the thin dome lights from Oznium and I love them. Here are the pix I snapped after the install, 35% tint on the windows and you cant even tell. Its like the sun is in the car with me....

I know I know....I did a license plate light retrofit with some of these bad boys and 6 LED's just went out yesterday!

for the lp go to superbrightleds.com and get the replacement bulbs that look like little computer chips. they are super bright and white.

as far as the oznuim ones burning out, it does that because they overheat. so far the only style dome light that i havent had a problem with is the one where its measured by size not L.E.D.s. I have the blue 2" x 5" in mine and it drowns out the other lights when it comes on.

i got the 25 led ones fyi THEY DONT FIT lol idk if someone already said that but ya they sont fit inside the cover i think the smaller ones do but eh i like them out. the one in the back i just drilled a hole and used the provided connector to tap into the rear dome.

The ones I used for the license plate is the 5th one down, part # WLED-xHP6 Wedge Base Bulb


For the map lights inside, scroll all the way to the bottom and go back to page one. scroll all the way down again and they are the third from the bottom. Part # 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb

Dont forget to choose your color. I went with the bright white on all of mine.

the "map lights" are the two that you push the buttons for on the front dome light. all three are the same type bulb. My middle one is blue and is the dome light and when i push the buttons, the other two that come on are the bright white. Sometimes I need to be able to see better to find stuff in the.

also for those three in the front, I read that you can get the other small domelights from oznium and fit them in there. It would be the one I was talking about earlier where its by size, not L.E.D. I think it was the 1.5"x1.5" that they said would fit in each spot. Those would brobably be pretty bright too.

To install the L.P. ones, open the hatch and on the inside of the hatch kindof between the handles there are two little doors that you can pop off with a small flathead screwdriver or pocketknife. there is a bulb behind each one, you just twist 1/4 turn counterclockwise and then pull it out like the rest. they are sometimes a pain in the ass to get out though.



speaking of LEDs know which ones are for the driving lights?

I used the WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED but you can use any of them that are a replacement for that bulb. its the same base as the tag lights and map lights.
Since L.E.D.s shine straight out, most of them will look like just dots. A bulb like this one here will shine light of it out sideways to reflect on the inside of the housing more like a regular bulb.

As cheap as most of them are, order 2 of a few different styles and play around with what looks better where.

Have you guys tried the UV 16 led ? My car is bareellllly lit at night, it kind of really sucks X_X.
