I'm looking for a header. So far the best I can find is the Megan Racing header. The tick is that I would really like a ceramic one to avoid the staining but my main concern is the sound. I want to maintain a roar from the engine not my ass. ;)

Any ideas?

I was gonna go with MMW headers. Actually I am ordering it tomorrow. Never heard of Strups.

Are you looking for LOOKS or Performance?

If you want performance, go with Alphawerks or MMW. Those are the 2 best in terms of performance.

If you want looks, the DC Sports header is fine. It's ceramic as well.

Strup preforms as well as any other header and looks awesome. One way to avoid staining is to make sure you clean the header thoroughly before starting the car for the first time after installation.

And, of course, you get a discount on Strup products since you are Scikotic.

I've seen the Strup and heard it on the car.. I don't like it at all. I'll have to read up on Alphawerks and MMW I haven't heard of them.

Ofcourse I want performance over looks thats why I hadn't gone with DC. They look good but blah.

The sound from any header can be awful depending on your exhaust setup. A resonator is your friend.

GReddy does make a header... for their TURBO :D

Go with the Strup - S3 magazine dyno tested it to make 12 WHP (I just read it yesterday). Plus they're a site supporter.

And I don't think there is much difference in sound between headers. The exhaust accounts for most of the sound.

There is SOME difference in the headers and sound. Regardless, if you have a full exhaust with headers in the tC, you're gonna need a large resonator to get rid of the rasp.

MMW sounds the best out of the list. You get a package. Megan? No . . heard it makes the exhaust sound awful. Dunno about the rest though.

I have it in the back of my car at the moment. They are really well made and it is quite the kit. Price is at 700 but got it for a discount. 535 including shipping. I cant wait to have them put on but I dont thnik I will.....prob look for a shop or something.
