well i was driving home after having lunch with my mom and sister and i got pulled over....he pulled me over for my limo tint on my front windows...grrrrr i dunno how he saw it when he was behide me...probably figured i had it on the front since it was on the back...and its an overcast day so it only makes me windows look darker...AND its the end of the month...cops are looking to give tickets like crazy....grr i wish i knew someone to sign it off...i guess i have a month to find someone

Got to be careful right now I was told from one of my mom's costomers that thier husband is a bpd officer that BPD officers where given the order to give speeding tickets for anything over 3 mph. All county's are hurting for money so in order to make money is to give more tickets etc...what can you do...

true true...that and CHP officers would give thier own mothers a ticket I heard that straight from another kern sherriff dept officer the other night.

yeah i know...this is my second ticket...first one on this tC and i got one on my other tC oh well...i guess if i continue to put the tint on i gotta think im gonna get a ticket....oh well...no worries ill just take it off get my ticket sign and go put the tint back on haha it looks too good to not have it on

the CHP in bakersfield is just haters. my dad and I got stopped there and ticketed for 7 miles over speed limit:)

I heard the other day that if you have glasses or something you might be able to go to the eye doctor and get a note saying that you have to have your front windows tinted due to having poor eye sight. My girlfriend's coworker has a Caviler that is dark as hell and she can't get ticketed I guess.

That's how I got my first ticket... 44 in a 35, then by the time the cop had turned around and stopped me, I was just past the sign for 30mph... He said he'd be nice though and knock it down to 10 over. Assholes.

I just bought a used xB that has aftermarket tinit on it. I'm going to the Maryland State police to get it scanned and hopefully certified, 35% and lighter is legal here. Can you get tint scanned and certified in Cali? If I get pulled over later, I get to pull that nice little card out and laugh at the cop,.... until he gets pissed off and tries to write me up for some other BS, like blue footwell lighting.

what you could is if you took pics of before your car had tint on it take that pic up to the court and show them that you "took it off" and they charge you like $10 bucks but just make sure the pic doesnt have a date taken on it lol

The only way the eyedoctor trick works with tint is if its only on the top half of your window i looked into that already :up:

yeah i dont have an eye doc anyways...i think im just gonna take it off take care of it and put the tint back on...what a waste of time and money...but my car would look weird without the tint lol
