I've played around with a few brands on the XA and I have settled on this setup. i know everyone has an opinion on this matter and this is mine. TRD springs my choice why because they are cold rolled they have a nice balance between comfort and handling.

shocks/struts whatever you want to call them I go with the racing Echo KYB shocks why they deliver on performance and are less expensive then most other brands and my car came stock with KYB. I like the performance of them and have not had any problems.

energy suspension front sway bar conversion poly end links upgrade the bolts to grade 8 as well worth the time to do the conversion.

XB meagan racing underframe brace it fits the XA fine and it is inexpensive and gets the job done.

kami speed store c-one frame braces a little overkill for the money but they do shave off a few seconds.

progress technology rear sway bar if your going to use one. I don't use my rear sway bar anymore.

Axxis brake pads they work great low dust long life.

light rims I use 15 inch with yokohama TRZ tires great combo.

Alliance hose and tube works custom red teflon shielded steel braided brake lines.

This is my setup it works great I have no complaints about it. if your going for a lower drop on your car you may have scrubbing isues with the underframe brace.

I almost forgot I have the hotchkis upper strut tower brace expensive yes well constructed definentley.

one more thing I wanted to add is for those of you who have not measured the diameter of the front sway bar it's huge let me put it this way the energy suspension diameter measurer for swaybars that comes in their catalogs the front say bar goes to the final notch on the scale. which means it's as big as some huge trucks so I see no reason to replace the sway bar in the front of the car except maybe to save a pound or two weight wise. for the cost and the work involved it just isn't worth replacing the front sway bar however you can add energy suspension greased bushings on the inside of the sway bar but plan on a half a day job to do it it's harder then doing the endlinks which is a more important modification in my opinion. remember if you do the endlink mod your gonna have extra bolt hanging down cut the excess with a saw zaw make it clean if you ever have to replace them the bolts are not that expensive. these bolts are also very close to the CV boot so if they aren't trimmed and installed right you can cut the cv boot which a guy in our car group did by mistake.

in the future i will be buying the beatrush aluminum under body cover to increase downforce i will post what I think of it once i get it. Thats my opinion and the route I took with my XA and I am very pleased it might help somone so i figured I would post it.

I am excited to see how this project turns out. It will probably be one of the best, if not the best handling xA out there. Especially if you add the underbody panels. Good luck.
