im not sure how well this is known but my car was broken into today (it has scion security installed) by just taking an object (like a hammer and a screw driver) and popping the lock into the inside of the door. After that was done they could unlock they car from the outside through the hole
i had my snowboard and psp stolen for sure

go get an aftermarket alarm, have it installed (preferably a clifford they are pretty good) then get a set of hella horns or something in the 150+ decible range, and have them hook the horns up to your alarm instead of the wimpy speaker it comes with

then get an extension cord and wire it in so the body has a constant 110 volts to it.. lol

i've heard the Python (especially the 990 series) alarms from Circuit City are good and loud. They also come with a key fob that tells you the status of your ride every 60 seconds. its quite expensive, but worth it!

is already been said, but thats not a serious flaw, but is the same to a lot of cars like GM.. and the scion security in the tc can be adjusted to how sensible it is, im not sure about th xb.

be responsible, don't lose your remotes...:lcop:
suxxor.
i know how you feel. my factory alarm that i was forced to purchase with the RS3 package didnt work for shit when some asshole busted my window and ganked my monitors. damn thing never went off, and was still armed when i saw the dammage the next morning. i wake up at even the slightest sounds ever since basic training. yeah, not one peep from that factory POS.
i currently have an Autopage RS900 1 mile 2 way, and i love it.

I need to get an aftermarket alarm for my car. With more money going into it, I want to protect my investment/baby.
