Is there something different about the Scion cooling system? Generally you fill the radiator bring it up to operating temp til thermostat opens then top off...also fill the overflow tank and check it for bubbles. Or some of them have bleed screws, I have even seen people put cars where the fill tube is not the highest point on ramps and bleed it that way. So are Scions different??

yea, theres no bleed screws, apparently it bleeds through the radiator cap, when you push down the center, I've always cheated, I'll fill it, squeeze the radiator hose, and top it off till I get no more air, but with the killer glass I won't be able to do that

Let it heat up & cool down a few cycles & it should purge out itself

As long as the highest part of the hose is below the top of the radiator

They make it sound like a pain in the ass but as killerglass pointed out as long as the highest point of the radiator hose is below the top of the radiator all you would have to do is crack the air bleed and let the air escape. You could attach a tube if you'd like but I don't see the necessity.

well it was a pain in the ass to get it in, I bled it like a regular radiator, works fine, I'll check it again tomarrow though
