Now, i understnad that it's failry simple once you search for for the interior refabricing redo, but does anyone have experience with redoing their seats as well... I mean, i wanna do a white microfiber suede to my door panels, as well as headliner with a possible star pattern because i have star tattoo's as a tramp stamp, and so do a group of my friends. It's kind of a family thing. Newho, i wanna get the star pattern in black and have the background in white. You know. Rollin' correctly.

But, it doesn't do me any good to have a bangin' headliner, front door panels, back door panels and trunk with the matching black dash if i cant have some slick seats as well. Right?

Because to ride correctly if you redo the interior, i believe that the seats are a must as well. Not to put down u peeps already rockin' the base seats with a redone interior, but i wanna have it all fungshway... or vonsway (bb2)...

If ya follow me, im unfamilir with the refabbing of the seats. I know that a fabric glue will work fine for the door panels, as well as the headliners... But, anyone have experience with the seats. Can i just glue the fabric over the seats like i would the rest of the car? Obviously not, someone please help me so i don't act like a afasdfha sdfh and mess my ride up.

To be honest the headliner is a biznatch to do. I paid to get mine done if you look around u can find a place that will do it cheap espically if u provide the fabric. Either way good luck homie

check my profile even though i need to update the picture. The seats are by far the most pain in the ass to try and do yourself. Do you know anybody that can sew? There are 68 (give or take a few) little metal rings that you have to work apart with screwdrivers or pliers in order to get the "cover" off of the seat. once it is off, have someone resew with new material and put all the rods back in and clip the rings back on. it took me about 2 hours per seat just to get the old covers off.

Definatly cannnot just glue over the seats

2 hours a piece to remove... ::shakes head:: oh dear. Im in for a weekend session it looks like. And yeah, my mom sews, although im pretty sure shes not gonna wanna do my car seats for me. Usually its more along the lines of ripped pants, and things like that. lol.

But, yeah, i can see what you've done in ur car. Looks like u did a white with black leather seat. Looks nice. I wanna do something similar. Only, all white seats with the star design in them. UGH! i can't believe those seats are going to be such a pain. Anyone else know an easier way to get them off? I mean, once you get them off the sliders, there's a whole bunch of stuff keeping them on the seat? Wtf! please explain more.

Its hard to explain. Ok, if you start with just the front seat bottom, you see how it looks like multiple cushions and the fabric sucks down between the peices? everywere there is a crease like that, under the fabric is a metal rod sewn in. that metal rod is attatched to the seat frame by 4-8 little metal rings. if you pull a seat out and follow the edge of the fabric under, you will see a set of the rods and rings where the fabric ends. Just for the bottom of one front seat, made up of two sqares for a total of seven rods. plus 4 more rods, one for each side to hold it on the bottom. that makes 11 rods with about six rings that hold each rod to the seat frame.
