This is old. These guys have been flamed at other sites. That kist was being sold as bolt-on and able to perform without any engine upgrades...not good. For that much power, you need A LOT of other work.

:ponder: they blew that engine out :lalala:

IMO there's nothing impressive about taking a car and "dropping it in"... Sure they made 400hp, but it was bolt on kit with some stupidity as an accessory... 20lbs of boost on a TC engine is not the best idea without internal swap and alcohol injection and timing control... But then again.. i'm trying to hit 160-170 in my XB.. so eh

160-170 at the crank or at the wheels? Because I don't think 160 to the wheels is not attainable without replacing internals.

@ the wheels... 160-170 is long term goal.. i'm shooting for 130-140 at the wheels initially with an 8lb boost, custom crower cam, light weight pulley, greddy sc, plugs, wires, alky injection, stage 1 fuel rail, bigger injectors, FPR/Pump, and a 15-30shot Wetkit... + a few other ideas I have that haven't been attempted yet... but before I make an ass out ofmyself i'm going to talk with the techs and some aftermarket engineers to see if it can be done... No motor swaps for this man!

Yanno .. I read all that, and it sounds freakin awesome ... but then I read it again about about all I caught was

I really like spending $30-40 at the pump every week

Sorry, after filling up 2 weeks in a row at these prices, I've started looking at more modest modifications myself

The fact that he dynoed at 426 says volumes of what can be done with the tC. (Watch those oil leaks)

Well, when a guy pull 700 hp on a base Civic a few years back, the tC can easily reach that if done right.......
