I can already see now that I'm gonna burn through these OEM tires that came on my '07 tC... Does anyone have any good suggestions on which tires to replace them with? I don't really care for the factory Bridgestone 17" tires that it came with... I'm looking for something a little more sporty but not too noisey.... Looking to keep them tires at $100-$125 (maybe) a piece...

i'd just wait till you do burn through. then i'd go with a good kumho or a yokohama.

I am running Ventus tires right now and I must say I really like them a lot. I have not had experience with Yokos but so far I like what my dealer put on for me. Very hard to squeal the tires. Well that could be because my car is bone stock...but even taking fast corners the car is very planted. I dont know if yall have heard of Ventus or not.

I've never heard of ventus I'll have to look at those cool post I like the yokohama tires and I am sure nitto makes good tires but I have a true story about nitto's and they scare me I was in a wrx sti about four years ago I was following a friend who was driving a supercharged integra we were in the 110 mph range he hit a corner on the way to high point NC and I saw the rear end break loose the car flipped 14 times killing him. We had kuhmo's on the wrx and honestley barley made it through the corner but I can still remember seeing the rear end break away sometimes in my dreams and I'll wake up and my heart is pounding. Thats why I have never run nittos and probabley never will. I know I shouldn't judge a tire because of one event. a thousand diffrent things could have gone wrong that night and we were being stupid going that fast on wet roads but when I think of Nitto I remember my Friend.I used to slam nitto tires and people would get so ill at me i think I was slamming myself for being so stupid with a car at the time. I run yokohama but I am sure there are alot of good tires out there to me once you get used to a tire it's best to drive with the same brand and same model tire because your driving style is used to that type of tire and you know how far you can safley push a car.

Instead of blaming tires I would have to say the blame is with the person driving recklessly at 110 mph. Not to be harsh or anything. What you experienced is definitely grotesque and you have my sympathy.

I appreciate that but I pretty much explained that I held it against nitto and I shouldn't have for along time. I do believe yokohama makes some of the best tires for the XA the TRZ is the best tire on a 15 inch wheel thats all i can vouch 4 except for the BF Traction TA they suck dog balls they wear funny and are a very very noisy tire an di know a few people who have ben very dissapointed by them including me. I love the TRZ it's a great 80,000 mile tire it handles well on wet and dry roads and is priced well. i am also a firm believer whatever tire you find that you like stay with it once you have found it because your driving style becomes used to the limits and feel of your rubber. it's kinda like a good brand of condoms if they feel good work good and you can do burn outs with them why go with another brand. lol :-P
