SOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I gots this problem where I went to open my hatch...and VOILA...

As you can tell the panel just fell the f* off...SO I checked it out and the clips broke on the other side. Can anyone tell me the best way to fix it...myself...no dealers or body shops or anything. If I should use a sealant on the edges or what?!?

super extra glue that hoe? damn same thing happend when i was takin off my spoiler, but only one side clip broke, i just put it there all other clips should hold it?

do u have a factory warrenty on ur car ?????if so take it to the dealership and it should be covered.....is ur tc an 08-09?

No...get this, I bought it from a Honda dealership...and the only reason I ended up at a Honda dealership was because I saw the tC online

I couldn't afford to replace mine,but it was broken when I took over the notes from my cousin... anyway,I used the black 3M double stick tape. It holds really well even with the Louisiana weather.

Go to Auto Zone,get some 3M tape... like 3 or 4 bucks.... and go to town.. LOL

Mine has been holding since April,and only had to change the tape once before. Total time,like 9 months it's been broken. LOL

That's what my bf wants to do today, they said they had some tc's but I don't know about BCP...I'll settle for a BSP cause I'm hoping to put some black on her, but don't know if I'll use BSP :( They were asking $50 for it so we'll see...

isnt that some shit! lol sorry girl, that sucks. Did you notice it feeling loose prior to this happening? only reason i ask, is because im scared mines gonna do it lol hope you find another one. I cant see why it couldnt be fixed though

Yeah...it was all loose and wiggling when I bought it, it was like a crinkling/squeaking noise kinda...(that was a horrible description, I know) Just don't pull hard on the garish when you go to open it

Lift with the bottom edge of the hatch, don't use the garnish.

Thanks! Tim (SpazzySpazz) said they had 2 left of the BCP in stock right now in MB for $110 :( Wish I had that money now...so hopefully in a couple of months they'll still have them!

lol i did the same thing...except mine didnt just come off, it ripped in three pieces... so i spent 140 and bought a cool carbon fiber one to replace it. i now have a trunk lid with flat carbon fiber, no emblems :) just how i like it
