Has anyone done this for their car? I just traded my 07 in for a 2010 and i did not get it on my last one but wanted to. Is it really worth the 600$ for them to put on the chemical clear coat for your clear coat?

nope... just keep your car clean and use the right cleaning agents/supplies on it to keep from scratching it...

I wish I would have had the clear vinyl put on mine. I've had it for 3 months and already have a rock chip on the nose of my RS5...

Now the stone shield is a great buy and I wish I was offered it when I bought mine...

You can get those done for $299 and they are well worth the money...

where do you get them done at? i found a place that tints windows that also does the hood tint, its a clear tint that goes on the hood to protect against rock chips. Is this worth it? and does anyone know how it looks?

It is worth it!!! Since it is clear it blends in with the hood and you can wash and wax it when you do your car...

It's a vry good investment, my hood looks like crap and I wish it was offered to me when I bought mine...So I will just replace my hood with a carbon fiber one...
