am looking at getting my first tC but because I am a student right now and have student loans out, i cant get a loan to get a decent one from the dealer...... damn economy. Anyway, found this-

was wanting some feed back on it in terms of if it is worth fixing, possible cost in parts, where to get the parts ect. I had a 08 focus, then got the crapper im driving now ( 95 sable with over 200k on it) and need to get a new car that is running. Any feed back is appreciated. thansk

I think that is a bad idea. That is a lot of frame work not to mention the cost of panels. If you had access to your own welder and tools then maybe but its still a lot of work.

its probably better if you can find a new/used one like i did, cause with the money you are gonna spend buying that TC and fixin it its ganna be alot of money and you are goin to have a salvage car, IM NOT A AUTOBODY TECH! but my guess on just fixing the rear damage its 8,000 to 10,000!

I agree. It also won't hold it's resale value seeing as it would be a salvage.

yea. I hear all of you. Thats why I wanted to hear thoughts from other tC owners. There just arent a lot of them in the area. I am also considering buying a used one from another state and paying the few grand to have it shipped to my area. All I can find are brand new cars. Id like to get an 05 or 06. but i dont know if it is gonna happen.

ouch thats def no worth it s
both rear quarters are screwed that would be some serious welding
im suprised they dont say youll need a new gas tank cuz it looks like it should
check out craigslist for used tcs you can get an 05 or 06 for less than what you would spend to make that car whole again

You guys do realize that these cars were TOTALED right? That means that they were crashed and the insurance company calculated that it wasn't worth fixing...
