I was offered a deal by the dealership and i might be trading in my 07 TC for either an 2009 or a 2010 TC same one just stuck on the color. I have an automatic flint mica. Any suggestions???

Flint mica for the win! Super white is nice too, I guess, lol

I'd get a flint mica again. That's what mine is and I get compliments on the color constantly, plus its different.
I haven't checked the pallettes for the 10 tC's but I heard about a new silver pearl and blue metallic. Might want to check them out.

No offense meant, but why would you trade in one tC to get another one that has minor differences?
Think about waiting another year or two and getting the next gen tC that is rumored to possibly be the Toyota-Subaru project that is in the works. The tC has been the same for 5 years and they did the "mid-cycle refresh" in 2008, therefore I'm lead to believe that this generation is almost done for.
You know what I mean? That's what I'd do if I were in your shoes anyways.

I'd say go with the Super White.
I love the Flint Mica, but having the Gloss Black RS5 I do, I kinda want a clean white one. I'm really into that panda look...
(I forgot to include my color thoughts.)

I agree, the only real differences are the headlights and tail lights, and I think the steering wheel in some of them (some have the two-toned look). How many miles are on your 07? Dealers will do everything to coax you into trading a car for a brand new one, let alone the same car, which is kinda weird.

i have almost 47k on it.. its got a few dings and bumps from living in the city and some curb rash, i figured i would do it now so i would get the warranty back, and since im moving out of the city i can get a nice fresh new car, without all the chips on the hood and slight dings from bumpers.. I mean i only owe $11,000 now.. I'm just looking at it as the warranty and since i know more about the car ide wanna hook it up from the beginning..

Its a Toyota dude, you don't need a warranty.

Haha, it might be true, but it's more like a piece of mind. Keep that in mind for your fresh new car if you're planning on modding it out. They will try to do anything to say whatever is your fault. (Not my experience, but a common thing I've heard.)

It's not that they try to make everything your fault but when you put an after market part thats not on from factory under the warranty the part you put on is no longer covered. And get rid of your automatic for sure. If they come out with a Toyota/Subaru it better have a turbo subi powerplant..
The tC needs a change thats for sure..

I haven't had any issues like that, but then again, I've only had my RS5 for less than 3 months.
I completely agree with you. On the satisfaction survey I recommended that the give it a factory turbo and a 6th gear! It needs a little booster seat. :D

They are changing the tC to something similar to the "Fuse" concept for the 2011 Model year... the Toyota/Subaru concept you keep mentioning is only being talked about at the moment and has not been decided whether it will have the Toyota or Scion Name...
so basically what im saying is if your gonna get a new car and dont want to to wait... I LOVE super white.. 2 times I have went to the dealer to get a White tC and 2 times I have wallked out with something else lol
and if you do end up waiting... I would definitly wait till 2011 to see what they are going to be offering for the new model tC..
Not to mention the iQ comes out in a few months and they will be making a new scion model (possibly a mini p/u truck) for 2012
^^^ hope that helps :)

hey guys thanks for all the input, i went to the dealer and ended up getting a 2010 Flint mica again. It was the only one they had at the time, but of course after i started discussing prices they pulled out a white one. Well anyway it was a good deal they offered me $1000 over blue book price and they actually gave me like $1500 over blue book price since i had the 3rd brake light, new tires, and the upgraded radio on it. It did however have a pin stripe on it that i made them take off. I only owed 11,000$ on mine and put down $1000 and paid it off completely so now im stuck into 75 months with payments of about $336 after gap which aint to bad considering my last payments were $322.. Anyone wanna help me mod this baby!! im in the philly area, the main reason i wanted a new car was to start fresh and mod it from the beginning since my old one was scratched and chipped up, also find someone local to help me out. :)

tC: The sport coupe will be redesigned for the 2011 model year. Look for styling that makes a statement, an effort to woo young buyers to the brand.
Sports car: Toyota will import a rear-drive sporty coupe either as a Scion or Toyota. The car will be the successor to the Toyota Celica, which was dropped at the end of the 2005 model year. Executives say they think the coupe will arrive here in 2013.
also a lot of people do it for a newer year, less miles, and it can also lower your car payment sometimes ..

exactly correct, less miles, less chips and scratches from the highway, less curb rash, and a warranty.. as things do go wrong... plus for your insurance you get new car discounts!
