maybe im being a bit of an assclown, or a killjoy...but i know for a fact that i have posted pics of mods, and custom mods on this site time and time again that rendered the response of "wow". The next move is boosting the car with a clean ridiculous setup ( aem fi/c, 550 cc injectors, boost controller and a front mount nitrous spray bar)....is this site coming to ricing your ride completely out to get noticed???....if so, how utterly disgusting, can we at some point focus on the tuning aspect of a tc...??

sorry my rant is over....hahaha.

Part of the rules for being srotm is that you have to have a listing in the garage. I don't see one for you. Here (http://www.scikotics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36397) is a link to the rules. Once you get your car in the garage you might be suprised to see who wins

Hey Troy, clean ride from what your pic shows. Do you have any more pictures of your car?

Have you even nominated your ride for SROTM? I can't find where you have.

If you think your car should be in the running, all you have to do is post according to the rules. If something is wrong with the posting, I'll PM you and you have until voting day to change it. Like Matt said, if you haven't changed it according to the rules, I take you off the nominations and you aren't in the running.

So to answer your question, no, you don't have to be 'rice' to be in the running. I don't consider any of those 'rice'. Some are off the wall and insanely modded cars, but that doesn't make them 'rice'. About 98 out of 100 cars in the running are clean and very well put together and deserve to be SROTM.

Scions are domestics anyway (right?), so you can't really call them "ricey", haha

It's debatable about the domestic-ness of Scion. No the company does not exist in Japan, but most of the cars are based on Toyota Japan's cars such as the xB/bB, xB/Rumion, tC/Avensis, and xA/Vitz.

I believe we used to have a forum (maybe we still do somewhere) called Rice and Taters, those cars found in that forum are truly "rice." In all honesty, Scion is about customization to make it what you want it to be. If someone wants their car to be gaudy then let them, just make it a point to make yours your own. People will notice.

my opinion, as you all have yours, in my personal opinion there is a ton of rice in the scion community. Just because someone owns a scion, and i do as well, does not mean that i am exempt from feeling theyre car is ricey, when as a matter of fact it likely is just that....thanks for the input on building a garage on here guys, i appreciate it.

I love the ride man it looks awesome. I really like the Bride seats and all the Cabon Fiber. How did you do your waterfall in CF?

i bought carbon fiber cloth and polyester resin, and just did it the same way any company would make a carbon fiber product by resining the cloth onto the surface.
